● Comments

For those visitors who leave comments on our site, we collect the data, shown in the comment form. To detect spam, we also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser agent string.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. This Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. When your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the form of your comment.  

● Media

When you upload any image to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data [EXIF GPS] included. Visitors can download the images or extract any location data from uploading such photos.

● Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, and email address in cookies. This will be for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in these details again when you leave another comment, the cookies duration will be for one year.

These cookies will not contain personal data and will discarded after closing your browser. For the next time you log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.

After login we will set several cookies to your login information and also your screen display choices, this option lasts for one year. When you select “Remember Me” your login persists for two weeks and after logging out, these cookies will removed as well.

An additional cookie will be saved to your browser if you edit or publish an article. This cookie is simply for the post ID of the article and includes no personal data, It expires after 1 day.

● Embedded content from other websites

Embedded content (e.g. images, articles, videos) is included in the articles. If the visitors have visited the other websites this embedded content behaves the same way as it did. 

If you log in to the website the site may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content of other sites.

● Who we share your data with

When you request to reset your password, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

● How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment on our site, this comment and its data are retained indefinitely. This is because we can recognize and follow up comments automatically. This is also for spam detection instead of holding comments in a moderation queue.

We will store the personal information (they provide in their user profile) of the users who register on our website. However, the users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they can’t change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. 

 ● What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account (after registering) on our site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of your data, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request to erase the data that we have hold about you. This data does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal, security, or administrative purposes. 

● Where do we send your data

For preventing spam the visitor’s comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
